Cancer Seminar Was A Hit At The Victoria Health Show 02/07/12
On sat and sun Jan 28 and 29 I had the great honor of presenting my cancer prevention seminar at the Victoria Health Show in beautiful British Columbia. On saturday my lecture was featured on the main stage and, as with sunday’s lecture, was very well attended. In the lecture I provided evidence for the 10 most important ways, through diet and lifestyle practice, to reduce risk of cancer. I showed the audience the primary mechanisms by which cancer develops, highlighting the fact that 70-90% of cancers result from faulty dietary and lifestyle behaviours that act through these pathways. The National Cancer Institute has provided the evidence showing that 70-90% of cancers are preventable. I showed the audience what the strategies are to prevent cancer, based on the totality of scientific evidence gathered to date. I told the class that if they emailed me, I would be happy to send them a copy of my teaching slides used during the presentation. I have been over whelmed by the response and so I thought I would offer them to all of you as well. If you would like a copy of my teaching slides from the cancer prevention seminar just write to me and request them at drjames@adeeva.com There is so much at stake if you don’t take the appropriate cancer-prevention lifestyle steps, so I hope you will read the many review papers I have written on this subject (www.meschinohealth.com) and request a copy of my teaching slides if you feel they will help you.
