2012 Study Shows Cranberry Products Reduce Risk of Urinary Tract Infections by 40% (Archives Internal Medicine) 08/20/12

A number of studies have shown that ingredients in cranberries help prevent bacteria from adhering to the walls of the urinary tract. Cranberry products also acidify the urine, which makes it hard for E coli and other bacteria to replicate, lowering their concentrations.
