The Preventions and treatment of Nail Fungus
Nail fungus is a very common nail disorder that occurs when a group of tiny fungus, called dermatophytes, invade the under and around the nail bed. The nail provides a safe place for the fungus to grow. Most often it is found in the toenails, which can be painful. The nail may appear yellow or green and thick. Nail fungus can spread from one toe to the other or may be transmitted through contact in shower stalls, bathrooms or locker rooms because it grows best in dark, warm and moist environments. A lack of sufficient “friendly†bacteria in the body can also be a possible cause. Symptoms of nail fungus do not get better on their own, they need treatment otherwise they may get worse.
