Attention Deficit Disorder/hyperactivity disorder is a condition characterized by behavior problems with attention, over-activity and impulsivity. Chronic difficulties with concentration, mental focus and inhibition of impulses tend to impair daily functioning at school, at work and in relationships. It affects between 8 to 10 percent of children and 4 percent of adults.
